• Using both some of the interpersonal communication concepts (e.g. report and command levels) and some of the
interviewing concepts (e.g., open- and closed-ended questions) that you have read about or we have discussed in
class, write a memo format report to your instructor analyzing the financial information gathering interview you
watched in your role as observer
• Your final report should fit on (one side of) two to three 8 ½ by 11 inch pages (pieces of paper, if it were
presented as hard copy). (Aim for two pages, but if you need to run to three, you may.) Remember that a report
“page” is substantially filled with text. Do not count graphics and large areas or whitespace.
