Imagine that you are giving a welcome talk for the high school Summer Bridge Program
(freshman orientation). Prepare a speech
addressed to the incoming freshman on how to deal with the stresses of high
school. Reflect on some things that may
have caused stress in your life during high school. Are there things that you
would do differently? In your speech, make sure that you give the students positive
coping strategies that will make their transition to high school much more
enjoyable. Explain how the strategies will benefit the students.
