Hi, need to submit a 250 words paper on the topic Nursing Role Models. Many individuals in the nursing field possess a combination of these characteristics. Such individuals have set examples for aspiring nurses to emulate. Personally, my role model is Margaret Sanger.

In addition to carrying out her professional duties as a nurse, Margaret was a women’s liberation activist. Margaret advocated for female’s rights to use birth controls. This was not common in her era. in addition, she founded the American Birth Control League now known as Planned Parenthood (Nursing Online Education Database, n.d). I admire the way she took her role as a nurse beyond a professional level and stood for the improvement of women’s lifestyle. I also admire her courage to stand up for something that was not a common subject of discussion.
