Question 1: Explain Anselm’s argumentation for the existence of the Christian God, whether or not you think his arguments are logically valid, and why or why not. Be sure to engage the pro and con argumentation present in the Monologion and Proslogion.
Question 2: Present Anselm’s so-called “satisfaction” theory of redemption as you see it in the text assigned, not as it may be presented in other (secondary) sources, and argue for or against that theory as either valid and valuable or limited and mistaken.

The essays must be formatted thus: double-spaced, Times New Roman, font 12, 1-inch margins, no spaces between paragraphs, and no quotes longer than two lines.
