Numerous plants are located in proximity of their intended products usage. One example is, we have a plant that only makes off road tires. These off road tires are for large farming and mining vehicles. Since the majority of these tires are used throughout the Midwest, this specific tire plant is geographically located in the Midwest to reduce the cost of distribution as well as reduce the time for delivery since many of these tires takes an extended period to make as well as special considerations for distribution.
