The question they had to answer. (Analyze the words of the Apostle Paul found in Galatians 5:1-26. How are these biblical assertions relevant to the study and application of organizational behavior? Provide at least two (2) examples of how these verses could impact the role of organizational behavior in business.)
Organizational behavior is how people interact with others. The scriptures in Galatians 5:1-26, the Apostle Paul speaks on Christian Liberty. He speaks how we should interact with others and he also speaks on how we have now become free from bondage and we should no longer entertain the things that we use to. Galatian 5:1 states, “stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage”. Christ has set us free and we should love others and we must be merciful just as God is so merciful to us. Galatians 5:14-15 states, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another”. Again, Paul is telling us how we should treat one another. This chapter is packed with so much wisdom it is hard to just pick two scripture references. Galatians 5:19-21 states, “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in the time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God”. Apostle Paul is showing us as Christians how we should live and treat others as we have been freed through the blood shed of Jesus Christ. Living for Christ is not a thing that you pick up and put back down it is a lifestyle that requires constant self-examination and the forgiveness of others.
